‘The 36-year-old actress, who wed businessman-producer Neil Arce in July, is learning how to cook.’
Guess what Angel Locsin’s priority is?
The 36-year-old actress, who wed businessman-producer Neil Arce in July, is learning how to cook.
“Especially, spaghetti,” she said.
And who is patiently teaching her?
None other than actress Marian Rivera, who is not only a good cook but is a certified foodie, too.
It’s one of her many lovable qualities, just ask her husband, Dingdong Dantes.
Marian is also an entrepreneur. She is into flower arranging, said Angel.
“Ginawa na niyang business,” added the actress. “Hindi magugutom ang mag-anak na ‘yan.”
Meanwhile, Neil has cleared that Angel is definitely not running for public office.
The newlyweds are excited to have their own child.
Neil has a son from a previous relationship.
Angel, by the way, wishes to thank everyone who prayed for her 94-year-old dad, Angel Colmenares, who was hospitalized for Covid-19.
“He is now up and about,” she said. “Thank God.”
Actor Roderick Paulate is distancing himself from politics.
He served for three terms as councilor of Quezon City. In 2019, he decided to run for mayor.
His good friends, Congresswoman Vilma Santos, Maricel Soriano and Carmi Martin, encourage his to go back to acting.
Roderick starred in several box office hits. At 61, he remains single.
Lauren Young did not push through with her plan to have their house in Subic renovated.
Her mom would have taken charge of the renovation, but because of the pandemic and the lockdown restrictions, they’ve decided to delay the renovation.
Meanwhile, the actress is back on TV via the drama anthology, “Stories From the Heart:
Never Say Good-bye,” which is set to premiere this Monday, October 18, on GMA 7.
For a change, she’s not playing a kontrabida, she happily related.
Playing her leading man is Jak Roberto, who recently revealed that he thinks his girlfriend of four years, Barbie Forteza, is “the one.” But as they are just both in their 20’s, wedding bells will have to wait.
Two other GMA talents whom Bea Alonzo would be eager to work with are Derrick Monasterio and Ruru Madrid.
Her first choice, of course, is Alden Richards, with whom she is set to work with anytime soon.
The title of their first team-up is “A Moment To Remember.”
They will have a lock-in shooting, though. That would mean Bea and her boyfriend, Dominic Roque, will not be able to see each other as often as they want to.
Lassy Marquez said he felt more nervous than excited as they were about to shoot his intimate scene with Kit Thompson for their movie, Vivamax’s “Sarap Mong Patayin.”
Lassy has to kiss Kit’s chest in the scene.
They had to rehearse it, the comedian related. “Pero, iba kapag actual na. Bale ba, magaling si Kit. At bata siya, ha. He’s only 24 years old.”
Kit is a product of “Pinoy Big Brother: Teen.” He was 16 when he joined the reality show.
He has appeared in a number of films and shows.
“Kaya, one of those lang daw ‘yung eksenang kinunan naming,” said Lassy. “Pati ‘yung ‘rape scene’ namin.”
Beauty queen-actress Ariel Arida is also part of the movie. She has her own kissing scene with Lassy.
Kit just shrugged off his sexy scenes in “Sarap Mong Patayin.”
“But I prepared for them,” he said. “We were given a copy of the script, of course. At nandun lahat ang mga eksenang kukunan – hindi nga lang well-defined ‘yung execution.
“At magaling talagang direkto si Direk Daryl Yap.”
