‘Looks like she’s now about to waste all of Viva’s efforts in the name of love. Or lust.’
AJ RAVAL is getting flak from netizens for romancing Aljur Abrenica who she met in the Vivamax movie, “Nerisa,” that was shot on location in Alabat Island. Aljur has just separated then from his wife and mother of his two sons, Kylie Padilla.
AJ said in an interview that they are not officially on yet, but their latest photos looking lovey-dovey while walking in a mall with their arms sweetly entwined around each other certainly prove otherwise. As they say, action speaks louder than words.
AJ said that Aljur’s style of courting her is old style: “Napakabuting tao po ni Aljur. Napaka-pure po. Totoong tao. To be honest, wala naman akong pakialam sa sasabihin ng ibang tao basta masaya po ako. Basta wala po akong tinatapakang ibang tao.”
Various netizens have sent her messages giving her unsolicited advice. “Gamitin mo ang head mo, Ate AJ. Mabait siya sa’yo, pero tanungin mo si Kylie. Naaawa ako sa’yo, nagpapakabulag ka.”
Another netizen commented that obviously, Aljur is after the daughters of action stars.
“After ‘yung anak ni Robin Padilla, anak naman ngayon ni Jeric Raval. Sinong susunod? ‘Yung anak ni FPJ kaya? Hahahaha!”
Viva gambled on AJ in building her up in a series of movies starring her. Looks like she’s now about to waste all o f Viva’s efforts in the name of love. Or lust.
Mark Herras is lucky GMA is giving him a second chance. It’s really about time he turns over a new leaf since he’s not getting any younger and he’s turning 35 years old in December. There was a time when his star shone brightly after winning as the “Ultimate Male Survivor” in the very first “Starstruck” in 2004. His love team then with female winner Jennylyn Mercado was really embraced by the public.
But something went wrong somewhere. Jennylyn became an unwed mother, but she still managed to rise again and is now one of the top stars of GMA. In the case of Mark, he also became an unwed father but his career failed to flourish until he was just relegated to playing supporting roles in “The Cure” and “Descendants of the Sun.”
He recently got into a tiff with his manager Lolit Solis who said he’s borrowing P30,000 from her, which he now denies. But in a way, he should still thank Lolit since he was really talked about because of this, with so many folks defending him.
Now, GMA has signed him up to a new contract and he is now doing lock in taping for a new teleserye, the crime-thriller “Artikulo 247” starring Rhian Ramos. He has a vlog with his wife Nicole Donesa, who he met on the set of the afternoon soap he did two years ago, “Bihag.” In their vlog, Nicole cried unabashedly because Mark is leaving her and their baby for the lock-in taping for one month.
“I don’t know, I’m excited to work but I don’t wanna leave the house,” Mark declared in their vlog.
Mark and Nicole tied the knot in a civil wedding last September 8, but their son, whose full name is Mark Fernando, was born on January 31 yet. Mark is always posting photos of his son. But he also has a daughter named Ada, now 7 years old, with his former road manager, Diane Evangelista. Wonder how the little girl feels now that her dad has his own family and is giving his son so much attention, with vlogs and all, that she never got before.
Jerald Napoles and Kim Molina are happy to topbill Vivamax’ special Halloween presentation, “Sa Haba ng Gabi,” a zombie movie. This is their fourth movie together after “Jowable,” “Babaeng Walang Pakiramdam” and “Ako at Ikaw at ang Ending,” but this time, they are not paired with each other since Jerald is paired with Candy Pangilinan.
How do they feel about this? Don’t they miss romancing each other? It’s Kim who answers:
“Okay lang, para maiba naman. We don’t miss romancing each other here kasi sa last movie naming ‘Ikaw at Ako,’ nabigay na namin ang lahat sa dami ng love scenes namin. Baka maumay naman ang audience kung ganun na namin ang gagawin namin. Also, we really want to do different kinds of movies.”
Are they not afraid of overexposure? “Actually, ‘yung ‘Jowable’ and ‘Babaeng Walang Pakiramdam,’ ginawa namin before the pandemic pa,” Jeralds says. “Ang ‘Ikaw at Ako’ and itong ‘Sa Haba ng Gabi’ lang ang ginawa namin this year. And aside from these movies, may ginawa rin akong movies na iba ang mga kasama ko, like ‘yung ‘Kaka’ with Sunshine Guimary na napalabas na and ‘yung ipapalabas pa lang in December na ‘Mang Jose’ with Janno Gibbs. So thankful talaga ako for all the projects I’m getting.”
Since “Sa Haba ng Gabi” is for Halloween, is it really scary? “Horror comedy ito, so may scenes na takutan, may jump scares, pero nakakatawa rin. Sa story, maids sina Kim at Ate Candy, sina Jhemerlyn and Neneng. They are working sa big mansion ng isang senador.
So we will survive the night or mapapatay kami ng zombies. Yun ang abangan nyo.”
“Sa Haba ng Gabi” starts streaming on Vivamax on October 29 in time for the long Halloween weekend.
