P2M shabu seized; 7 suspected pushers nabbed


    MORE than P2 million worth of suspected shabu was seized and seven suspected pushers were nabbed in buy-bust operations in Parañaque and Makati over the past two days.

    Arrested in Parañaque on Wednesday night were Dima Minalang Sayaat, 28; Sabrin Maulana Polindao, 32; and Richard Bien Buenvenida, 39.

    Seized from them were 11 heat sealed sachets containing suspected shabu with an estimated street value of P1,156,000.

    Meanwhile, suspected shabu worth P1,462,000 was seized from four suspected pushers nabbed in Makati yesterday morning.

    Brig. Gen. Johnson Almazan, Eastern Police District director, identified the four as McGregor Tibayan, 33; Edgar Evangelista, 34; Allan Sagsrio, 30; and Dario Hallera, 38.

    They were arrested in Barangay Rizal, Makati in an operation conducted by the Marikina station drug enforcement unit under Lt. Antonio Balois Jr. in cooperation with the Makati police.

    Two other suspected pushers were also nabbed in a buy-bust operation in Mandaluyong yesterday, with P8,840 worth of suspected shabu seized.
