Int’l sales boost Emperador profit


    Emp erador Inc. posted profits of P5.9 billion in the first nine months of the year, up 11 percent from last year’s P5.32 billion boosted by international sales for brandy and whisky products in various markets around the world.

    “During the third quarter alone, the company achieved 26 percent record growth in earnings to P2.5 billion, as overseas demand for its products surged amid the global pandemic,” Emperador said.

    “Emperador’s global business saw double-digit g rowth as it adapted well to new consumption trends,” said Winston Co, Emperador president.

    The company said its Fundador, Tres Cepas and Emperador brands have been growing consistently, particularly in the United States, Canada, Italy, Spain, United Kingdom and Greater China.
